Azovstal is one of the largest metallurgical plants of Ukraine, located in Mariupol.In the first days of March, the blockade of Mariupol began. More than 2,000 Urain soldiers were stationed in Azovstal. The Russian side demanded that they surrender, but the Ukrainian fighters continued their defense. On May 16, they surrendered.Mariupol is under constant shelling from Russia, and there is also a humanitarian disaster there.Battles for Mariupol are one of the heaviest during the war.
