The Soldiers' Song is the Irish national anthem, and at Celtic Park it is a statement of the club's roots. Behind the chant
What's the story behind The Soldiers' Song?
Celtic FC was founded in 1888 by Brother Walfrid of the Marist Brothers to help the Irish immigrant community in Glasgow's East End, which is the cultural root that makes The Soldiers' Song so resonant at Parkhead.
