Moises Caicedo arrived from Ecuador in 2021 and won the Amex crowd over completely before leaving in a British record deal. The Seagulls faithful were singing about Ballon d'Or glory long before anyone else took notice. One of the best Brighton chants about a player from the Amex era, sung with real pride by those who watched him first.

Caicedo joined Brighton in February 2021 and left in August 2023 for Chelsea in a deal reportedly worth up to £115 million, a British transfer record at the time. He was named Brighton's Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season in his final year at the club.
