Paul Sturrock is one of the most celebrated managers in Plymouth Argyle history. He took charge in October 2000 with the club struggling near the foot of the Football League's fourth tier and had them on the brink of the Championship before leaving for Southampton in March 2004. The Green Army have never forgotten it. This Plymouth Argyle football song keeps his name alive at Home Park.

What's the story behind One Paul Sturrock?

Paul Sturrock guided Plymouth Argyle to the Division 3 title in 2001-02 with 102 points and built the platform for Championship promotion in 2003-04, but left for Southampton in March 2004 before promotion was clinched, with the title confirmed under Bobby Williamson.
