When was You Go to Scum first sung?
Aimed at Alan Smith after his £7m move from Leeds to Manchester United in July 2004, the ultimate betrayal to the Elland Road crowd. 'Scum' is the Leeds nickname for Manchester United. The chant followed Smith to other clubs, including Newcastle, on his returns to face Leeds.
