What's the story behind Edward Ebeneezer Jeremiah Brown?
The song was written by Gerald 'Gerry' Hicks and premiered at a Cavendish Memorial Hall musical in 1971, with actors waving Ipswich Town scarves. It was later adopted by the club and has been the Portman Road walkout song ever since.
