What's the story behind Take Me Home Merkland Road?
Merkland Road East is the street that runs alongside Pittodrie Stadium in Aberdeen. Pittodrie opened in 1899 and in the 1920s became the first ground in the world to introduce dugouts, thanks to coach Donald Colman. The chant turns its address into a rallying cry for belonging.
