Twenty-one years
of recording the
noise.
FanChants started in 2005, on a coach to a match, with a tape recorder. It's now the world's largest archive of football fan chants. 29,000 of them, from 800+ clubs across 102 countries. Same small team. Same approach. Real fans. No studio fakes.
What we do
We record football fans singing. We do it in stadiums, in away ends, in pre-match pubs, on coach trips, at training grounds. We've done it for two decades.
The result is a catalogue of 29,000+ chants, indexed by club, country, theme, year and underlying tune. The chants are real, sung by real supporters, captured in real conditions. They're not stock. They're not studio recreations.
Two businesses, one archive
The same archive powers two things:
- FanChants.com. the consumer site and app, where football fans listen, browse and play. Spotify is our biggest channel.
- FanChants Licensing. the business you're on now. Cleared chant audio for TV, film, advertising, gaming and broadcast.
All audio is released under our label Matchday Records.
