Morgaro Gomis, nicknamed Jimmy by the Arabs, was Craig Levein's first signing in January 2007 and fast became a Tannadice favourite. The defensive midfielder played nearly 180 games for United, won the 2010 Scottish Cup, and earned international recognition with Senegal.
